About Us
| Cooking with Chef Rod grew from my love for cooking. Having recently found out that I had type 2 Diabetes I wanted to share recipes and ideas to help others with the dietary needs, as well as the joy that cooking can be when you have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare foods from the every day with a twist to the gourmet tastes that most people only experience in four or five star restaurants. If the truth were known - any cook can prepare any recipe if they possess the knowledge of cooking terms and methods involved. This is becoming more and more apparent with modern television programming such as you will find on "The Food Network". |

| Mission Statement: We are committed to creating, encouraging, and inspiring passionate cooks. This dedication includes our promise to provide quality tools, classes and instructors in our school and online. We use only the freshest ingredients in class with many of our vegetables organically grown just minutes away. (in season) Our goals include promoting the benefits of sharing mealtime with family and friends throughout our community. Our classes are fun, friendly and intimate with an emphasis on personal attention. We cook full meals in class and then enjoy them. |
